Part of Larrivee's 40 Mahogany Legacy Series, the LV-40 boasts the company's Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid bracing system for maximum soundboard vibration, but with controlled low-end response. This all-solid-wood acoustic guitar was built from Sitka spruce-topped mahogany, with a hand-fit dovetail joint for a lock-tight fit and optimal sustain. The LV-40 is eminently playable, courtesy of its comfortable mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard. You also get a whole host of high-end appointments, including a bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard inlays, and 18:1 open-back tuners. The Larrivee LV-40 comes garlanded with maple Bold Rope binding, a Bold Rope rosette, a tortoise pickguard, and an attention-grabbing satin finish.
