Large Body Guitars

Large body styles - such as the Dreadnought, Slope Shoulder Dreadnought, and Jumbo are designed for maximum projection, deep bass response, and room-filling volume. Because of their wide waists and deep internal air volume, they excel at heavy strumming and flatpicking. However, their substantial footprint makes them less ideal for casual couch playing or smaller musicians.
